MAKING STORIES WHICH SELL

What makes a reader flipping through 100 pages of fashion stop, think, feel, want, look and purchase?

My pieces tend to stay on the artistic, dark and sultry side.  Using dramatic shadows, vibrant colors and emotional black and whites.  Merging fashion into a compelling story is my goal with every client, representing the clothing and connecting with it’s audience.

Working with the best of the best in Art Direction, Production, Hair, Makeup and wardrobe stylists produces vivid imagery which helps sell brands.

ANDREW’S HISTORY AND INTRODUCTION

As an Internet entrepreneur I finally found myself bored and void of the creativity that I once enjoyed.  As a child I was an actor, played piano and always challenged my creative side.  In April of 2012 I was fortunate to travel to Peru and brought along my first camera. I instantly fell in love with capturing moments on the street.

As soon as I got back to the US I began my creative endeavors and passion for fashion photography  I now shoot both digital and film (a 1920’s 4×5 Crown Graphic as well as Hassleblad).  I truly believe that no digital equipment can replicate the emotion which a slow-process film camera produces.

I have been fortunate enough to work under several amazing photographers who have been kind enough to share their craft and impart knowledge which has furthered my skills.

WHAT I SHOOT

I shoot fashion and fine art and do not stray from those two mediums.  I know when I can deliver for a client and only take assignments which lend themselves to benefiting from my style.

PROCESS

As a former ‘traditional’ business owner I was pitched a million times over.  My goal is to gain insight into your business, who your target market is and work within a budget.

EXPERIENCE

My work has been featured in Vogue, Fjorde, a few dozen other fashion publications as well as the San Diego Museum of Art.
